Spring is creeping slowly into Minnesota. Puffy clouds, cool rain showers, and the first bright blooms of the year are yours to find. The month of April is like a never-ending game of hide-and-seek. If you know where to look, you can seek cardinals hidden deep within the barely budding Dogwood bushes, you can spot blue petals of Siberian Squill as it snakes through the grass on a south-facing hillside, or count the grape-like bunches of teeny-tiny lilac buds as they patiently wait to unfurl their blooms in the sunshine. Spring is a time of refreshment, of beginning anew, and of enjoying the small glimmers of hope that quietly sprout across lawns, deep in the woods, and high in the treetops.
